Refined Fashion with some fun – London Fashion Week A/W16
London Fashion Week started with a great honour, Nathalie Massenet, the genius that created net-a-porter.com was recognized with a damehood, which she was awarded by Prince Charles. She then went on to give the opening speech for London Fashion Week. She embodies the strong modern woman, both empowering and sophisticated in her custom Ralph & Russo suit.
The shows embodied the effortless cool we expect from London headed by Mulberry and Burberry. Whimsy was to be found in abundance at Ashish, Preen & Mark Katrantzou. David Koma & Paul Smith showcased slick fashion, while Alexander McQueen blew us away with sheer gowns and gorgeous leather.
