Naeem Khan’s Fall 2016 fashion show combined glamorous dresses and our favourite model of the season – Trinity Faith Moran. Naem Khan made this 11 year old girls wish come true – to be a model. And boy did she shine! Trinity suffers from Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare life-threatening cancer. She made a wish and the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Glam4Good made it come true. “A lot of people told me that I’m really pretty and that I should be a model sometime, so I decided to make it my wish,” Trinity told Teen Vogue backstage before her big debut.
To make it happen, Stylist Mary Alice Stephenson, approached her friend Naeem Khan with the idea to have Trinity in a couture dress and to walk on his runway. Naeem Khan designed a beautiful cherry dress for her, “I love it a lot, it’s really pretty,” Trinity said to Teen Vogue “I love the jewels that are on it that he did.” Trinity together with Naeem Khan walked together hand in hand and rocked the closing of his phenomenal show.
As for the collection itself, it was one of our favorites from New York Fashion Week. From the unruly, unkempt hair, reminiscent of old European aristocrats, to the fabrics, embroidery and combinations used. It was a collection of dresses, that not only looked like pieces of, but were each flawlessly created to make you able to wear them and shine.
